This was fun and the dialogue is pretty funny as well! The scariest thing in this game is the funko pop fiend. They really act that way IRL so this game is actually incredibly realistic when you think about it.
I wanna let you know that your game was the best one (in my opinion) on the Madvent Calendar this year. I absolutely loved the environment you crafted as well as the hand-drawn characters you had throughout the mall. And that Funko collector genuinely freaked me out....
Really enjoyed the game. Got 2 bugs while playing though.
First one was that if you wait to buy the candy bar until after you've spent $15 on the mac and cheese, the collector won't give you the funko despite having 9/10 gifts.
Second one was that if you turn around after starting down the dark hall at the end, the NPC can spawn in front of you, blocking you between her and the door you entered from. Since she has collision, you can't get around her and you can't end the game.
Despite those, really enjoyed my time with this game. The 2D character sprites are really well done and actually fit in really well with the 3D psx aesthetic of the rest of the game. Well done and thanks for making it!
is it normal that I was able to buy the tonus macaronus even though I'd already bought the chalk from the vending machine, and wound up at a total of negative 99 cents?

Hi - made the collision box for the NPC at the end smaller. You should be able to squeeze past her now if that happens again.
Also fixed the bug regarding the vending machine - it should now register the collection properly. Thanks for playing and for notifying!

minor bug report -- the sphinx cat keychains in the Warm Subject get an eye icon like they're interactable, but nothing happens when you do.
