A Rocky Release

Hey. I hesitate to call this a full release because there's still a lot of work that needs doing, a fair amount of dialogue that needs writing, and general features that need to be implemented. That said, I didn't want to upload NOTHING before the deadline we set after pushing back our own deadline again.

Still, the build is still in a somewhat playable state, though I'd hesitate to call it presentable. Please be patient with us as we polish off the VERY jagged edges on this little guy. If you're here, though, thanks for giving it a shot!
